Numerous Attend Pro-Palestinian Rallies as Coordinators Promise to Persist in Activism
Tens of thousands assembled in various Australian cities at rallies supporting Palestine, with organizers vowing to continue protesting after a ceasefire deal negotiated by Donald Trump in Gaza initially appeared to be holding.
Sydney Protest Gathers Substantial Attendance
In Australia's largest city, the pro-Palestine organization claimed a crowd of 30,000 had protested from Hyde Park to another city park in the city center after a scheduled protest to the Opera House was banned by the New South Wales court of appeal last week.
Local authorities estimated eight thousand participants participated in the Sydney protest, with a spokesperson reporting there had been "no significant incidents".
